The manuscripts
The total extent of the manuscript (including tables, figures, pictures and references) is minimum 20 000, maximum 40 000 characters (including spaces).
We accept exclusively manuscripts prepared in a version of Microsoft Word.
Margins shall be left in default setting (each: 2.5 cm; gutter: 0 cm, header/footer: 1.25 cm). The pages shall have normal setting, size A4 (210x297mm) and portrait orientation.
Text of the manuscript shall be formatted in font type Times New Roman, size 11, normal and justified. In the text, only the most important emphases (for instance, interstitial chapters and titles, interstitial figure, table and picture markings) are allowed to be italicized; the source references considered to be traditional shall be also marked in this way and put between “ “ quotation marks. Do not leave empty rows between the paragraphs. The interstitial lists shall be marked by using general listing symbols (with a 0.63-cm hanging indent) which can be found in Word. The use of separate tabs should be avoided.
The title of manuscript shall be indicated in Hungarian and English, in font type Times New Roman, font size 14 and form of bold. The initial letters of author’s (authors’) surnames and forenames are sufficient. The author’s (authors’) workplace shall be indicated in the footnote by inserting numbered references.
This is followed up by abstracts in Hungarian and English languages, each of them shall have 10 rows at least, in italics font type TNR 10. Please indicate five Hungarian and English key words.
In addition, the JEL code shall be also indicated after the English abstract, to which the uploaded document can provide assistance (American Economic Association_ JEL Codess).

The main titles shall be indicated in bold font type TNR 12. Insofar as the manuscript is divided into subchapters then decimal marking will be required. The second heading shall be in bold italics font type TNR 12 while the third heading in normal font type TNR 12.
In the manuscript, the centuries (with the exception of the original occurrence) shall be indicated in Arabic numerals. With respect to the general orthography of manuscripts, furthermore, the orthography of personal and geographical names as well as figures (with the exception of the original occurrence), the current academic orthographical rules shall prevail. In the manuscript, the units of measurement shall be used in their forms used generally. A space shall be put between the number and the unit of measurement, except for the percent sign (%).
Title and source marking are required when presenting figures and tables. In case of figures, the serial number as well as the Hungarian and English titles and the source shall be at the bottom of the figure and referenced in the text (Figure 1). In case of tables, the title shall be presented in Hungarian and English above the table while the source shall be placed below the table and the reference is required in this case as well (Table 1). It is necessary to indicate the item number and the units of measurement.
The form of the interstitial references is shaped up according to the international standards. The sources shall be marked in round brackets (name, year: Dobák, 1993) in italics font type. The literatures shall be in alphabetical order in the references (Szabados, 2005).
